SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human BHLHE40 (basic helix-loop-helix family member e40, also called DEC1) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human BHLHE40 qPCR Primer Set – basic helix-loop-helix family member e40
Also known as: BHLHB2, Clast5, DEC1, HLHB2, SHARP-2, SHARP2, STRA13, Stra14
About this gene: BHLHE40 encodes a basic helix-loop-helix protein expressed in various tissues. The BHLHE40 protein can interact with ARNTL or compete for E-box binding sites in the promoter of PER1 and repress CLOCK/ARNTL's transactivation of PER1. BHLHE40 is believed to be involved in the control of circadian rhythm and cell differentiation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8553; HGNC ID: HGNC:1046; UniProt: O14503; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003670.3; Chromosome location: 3p26.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
