SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SDC2 (syndecan 2, also called HSPG) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human SDC2 qPCR Primer Set – syndecan 2
Also known as: CD362, HSPG, HSPG1, SYND2
About this gene: The SDC2 protein is a transmembrane heparan sulfate proteoglycan and belongs to the syndecan proteoglycan family. The syndecans mediate cell binding, cell signaling, and cytoskeletal organization and syndecan receptors are required for internalization of the HIV-1 tat protein. The syndecan-2 protein acts as an integral membrane protein and participates in cell proliferation, cell migration and cell-matrix interactions via its receptor for extracellular matrix proteins.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6383; HGNC ID: HGNC:10659; UniProt: P34741; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002998.4; Chromosome location: 8q22.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
