SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SCYL2 (SCY1 like pseudokinase 2) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human SCYL2 qPCR Primer Set – SCY1 like pseudokinase 2
Also known as: AMC4, AMCNACC, CVAK104
About this gene: The SCYL2 protein associates with clathrin-coated complexes at the plasma membrane and with endocytic coated vesicles. The SCYL2 protein phosphorylates the beta2 subunit of the plasma membrane adapter complex AP2 and interacts with clathrin, showing involvement in clathrin-dependent pathways between the trans-Golgi network and the endosomal system. In addition, this protein has a role in the Wnt signaling pathway by targeting frizzled 5 for lysosomal degradation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 55681; HGNC ID: HGNC:19286; UniProt: Q6P3W7; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_017988.6; Chromosome location: 12q23.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
