About this gene: SCYL1 encodes a transcriptional regulator belonging to the SCY1-like family of kinase-like proteins. The protein has a divergent N-terminal kinase domain that is believed to be catalytically inactive, and can bind specific DNA sequences through its C-terminal domain. The SCYL1 gene product activates transcription of the telomerase reverse transcriptase and DNA polymerase beta genes.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
