Human AIMP1 qPCR Primer Set – aminoacyl tRNA synthetase complex interacting multifunctional protein 1
Also known as: EMAP2, EMAPII, HLD3, SCYE1, p43
About this gene: The AIMP1 protein is a cytokine that is specifically induced by apoptosis, and it is involved in the control of angiogenesis, inflammation, and wound healing. The release of this cytokine renders the tumor-associated vasculature sensitive to tumor necrosis factor. The precursor protein is identical to the p43 subunit, which is linked to the multi-tRNA synthetase complex, and it modulates aminoacylation activity of tRNA synthetase in normal cells.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9255; HGNC ID: HGNC:10648; UniProt: Q12904; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001142416.2; Chromosome location: 4q24
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
