SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SCO1 (synthesis of cytochrome C oxidase 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SCO1 qPCR Primer Set – synthesis of cytochrome C oxidase 1
Also known as: MC4DN4, SCOD1
About this gene: Mammalian cytochrome c oxidase catalyzes the transfer of reducing equivalents from cytochrome c to molecular oxygen and pumps protons across the inner mitochondrial membrane. In yeast, 2 related COX assembly genes, SCO1 and SCO2, enable subunits 1 and 2 to be incorporated into the holoprotein. SCO1 is the human homolog to the yeast SCO1 gene.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6341; HGNC ID: HGNC:10603; UniProt: O75880; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004589.4; Chromosome location: 17p13.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
