SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SCN2B (sodium voltage-gated channel beta subunit 2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SCN2B qPCR Primer Set – sodium voltage-gated channel beta subunit 2
Also known as: ATFB14
About this gene: The SCN2B protein is the beta 2 subunit of the type II voltage-gated sodium channel. The SCN2B protein is involved in cell-cell adhesion and cell migration. Defects in SCN2B can be a cause of Brugada Syndrome, atrial fibrillation, or sudden infant death syndrome.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6327; HGNC ID: HGNC:10589; UniProt: O60939; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004588.5; Chromosome location: 11q23.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
