Human SCN11A qPCR Primer Set – sodium voltage-gated channel alpha subunit 11

Also known as: FEPS3, HSAN7, NAV1.9, NaN, PN5, SCN12A, SNS-2

About this gene: Voltage-gated sodium channels are transmembrane glycoprotein complexes composed of a large alpha subunit with 24 transmembrane domains and one or more regulatory beta subunits. They are responsible for the generation and propagation of action potentials in neurons and muscle. SCN11A encodes one member of the sodium channel alpha subunit gene family, and is highly expressed in nociceptive neurons of dorsal root ganglia and trigeminal ganglia.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 11280; HGNC ID: HGNC:10583; UniProt: Q9UI33; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001349253.2; Chromosome location: 3p22.2

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
