SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SCGB1D2 (secretoglobin family 1D member 2, also called Lipophilin-B) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SCGB1D2 qPCR Primer Set – secretoglobin family 1D member 2
Also known as: LIPB, LPHB, LPNB
About this gene: The SCGB1D2 protein belongs to the lipophilin subfamily, part of the uteroglobin superfamily, and is an ortholog of prostatein, the major secretory glycoprotein of the rat ventral prostate gland. Lipophilin gene products are widely expressed in normal tissues, especially in endocrine-responsive organs. Assuming that human lipophilins are the functional counterparts of prostatein, they may be transcriptionally regulated by steroid hormones, with the ability to bind androgens, other steroids and possibly bind and concentrate estramustine.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10647; HGNC ID: HGNC:18396; UniProt: O95969; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006551.4; Chromosome location: 11q12.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
