SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SCG3 (secretogranin III, also called SgIII) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human SCG3 qPCR Primer Set – secretogranin III
Also known as: SGIII
About this gene: The SCG3 protein belongs to the chromogranin/secretogranin family of neuroendocrine secretory proteins. Granins may serve as precursors for biologically active peptides. Some granins have been shown to function as helper proteins in sorting and proteolytic processing of prohormones; however, the function of this protein is unknown.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 29106; HGNC ID: HGNC:13707; UniProt: Q8WXD2; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_013243.4; Chromosome location: 15q21.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
