SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SCARB2 (scavenger receptor class B member 2, also called LGP85) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SCARB2 qPCR Primer Set – scavenger receptor class B member 2
Also known as: AMRF, CD36L2, EPM4, HLGP85, LGP85, LIMP-2, LIMPII, SR-BII
About this gene: The SCARB2 protein is a type III glycoprotein that is located primarily in limiting membranes of lysosomes and endosomes. Earlier studies in mice and rat suggested that this protein may participate in membrane transportation and the reorganization of endosomal/lysosomal compartment. The protein deficiency in mice was reported to impair cell membrane transport processes and cause pelvic junction obstruction, deafness, and peripheral neuropathy.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 950; HGNC ID: HGNC:1665; UniProt: Q14108; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005506.4; Chromosome location: 4q21.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
