SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SCAP (SREBF chaperone) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SCAP qPCR Primer Set – SREBF chaperone
About this gene: SCAP encodes a protein with a sterol sensing domain and seven WD domains. In the presence of cholesterol, this protein binds to sterol regulatory element binding proteins and mediates their transport from the ER to the Golgi. The SREBPs are then proteolytically cleaved and regulate sterol biosynthesis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 22937; HGNC ID: HGNC:30634; UniProt: Q12770; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_012235.4; Chromosome location: 3p21.31
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
