SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CFB (complement factor B, also called GBG) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human CFB qPCR Primer Set – complement factor B
Also known as: AHUS4, ARMD14, BF, BFD, CFAB, CFBD, FB, FBI12, GBG, H2-Bf, PBF2
About this gene: CFB encodes complement factor B, a component of the alternative pathway of complement activation. Factor B circulates in the blood as a single chain polypeptide. Upon activation of the alternative pathway, it is cleaved by complement factor D yielding the noncatalytic chain Ba and the catalytic subunit Bb.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 629; HGNC ID: HGNC:1037; UniProt: P00751; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001710.6; Chromosome location: 6p21.33
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
