SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human DSE (dermatan sulfate epimerase) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human DSE qPCR Primer Set – dermatan sulfate epimerase
Also known as: DS-epi1, DSEP, DSEPI, EDSMC2, SART-2, SART2
About this gene: The DSE protein is a tumor-rejection antigen. The DSE gene product is localized to the endoplasmic reticulum and functions to convert D-glucuronic acid to L-iduronic acid during the biosynthesis of dermatan sulfate. This antigen possesses tumor epitopes capable of inducing HLA-A24-restricted and tumor-specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes in cancer patients and may be useful for specific immunotherapy.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 29940; HGNC ID: HGNC:21144; UniProt: Q9UL01; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_013352.4; Chromosome location: 6q22.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
