SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SARS2 (seryl-tRNA synthetase 2, mitochondrial, also called SerRS) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SARS2 qPCR Primer Set – seryl-tRNA synthetase 2, mitochondrial
Also known as: SARS, SARSM, SERS, SYS, SerRS, SerRSmt, mtSerRS
About this gene: SARS2 encodes a mitochondrial seryl-tRNA synthethase precursor, a member of the class II tRNA synthetase family. The mature enzyme catalyzes the ligation of Serine to tRNA and participates in the biosynthesis of selenocysteinyl-tRNA in mitochondria. The enzyme contains an N-terminal tRNA binding domain and a core catalytic domain.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 54938; HGNC ID: HGNC:17697; UniProt: Q9NP81; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_017827.4; Chromosome location: 19q13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
