SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SARM1 (sterile alpha and TIR motif containing 1, also called HsTIR) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SARM1 qPCR Primer Set – sterile alpha and TIR motif containing 1
Also known as: HsTIR, MyD88-5, SAMD2, SARM, hSARM1
About this gene: SARM1 enables double-stranded DNA binding activity; hydrolase activity, hydrolyzing N-glycosyl compounds; and identical protein binding activity. It is involved in NAD+ catabolic process; positive regulation of programmed cell death; and response to axon injury. Is active in mitochondrion.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 23098; HGNC ID: HGNC:17074; UniProt: Q6SZW1; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_015077.4; Chromosome location: 17q11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
