SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human SAMHD1 (SAM and HD domain containing deoxynucleoside triphosphate triphosphohydrolase 1, also called DCIP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human SAMHD1 qPCR Primer Set – SAM and HD domain containing deoxynucleoside triphosphate triphosphohydrolase 1
Also known as: CHBL2, DCIP, HDDC1, MOP-5, SBBI88, hSAMHD1
About this gene: SAMHD1 may play a role in regulation of the innate immune response. The SAMHD1 protein is upregulated in response to viral infection and may be involved in mediation of tumor necrosis factor-alpha proinflammatory responses. Mutations in SAMHD1 have been linked to Aicardi-Goutieres syndrome.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 25939; HGNC ID: HGNC:15925; UniProt: Q9Y3Z3; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_015474.4; Chromosome location: 20q11.23
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
