SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human S100P (S100 calcium binding protein P, also called MIG9) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human S100P qPCR Primer Set – S100 calcium binding protein P
Also known as: MIG9
About this gene: The S100P protein belongs to the S100 family of proteins containing 2 EF-hand calcium-binding motifs. S100 proteins are localized in the cytoplasm and/or nucleus of a wide range of cells, and involved in the regulation of a number of cellular processes such as cell cycle progression and differentiation. S100 genes include at least 13 members which are located as a cluster on chromosome 1q21; however, S100P is located at 4p16.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6286; HGNC ID: HGNC:10504; UniProt: P25815; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005980.3; Chromosome location: 4p16.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
