About this gene: BECN1 encodes a protein that regulates autophagy, a catabolic process of degradation induced by starvation. The BECN1 protein is a component of the phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase complex which mediates vesicle-trafficking processes. The BECN1 protein is believed to play a role in multiple cellular processes, including tumorigenesis, neurodegeneration and apoptosis.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
