About this gene: Core binding factor is a heterodimeric transcription factor that binds to the core element of many enhancers and promoters. The RUNX1 protein represents the alpha subunit of CBF and is believed to be involved in the development of normal hematopoiesis. Chromosomal translocations involving RUNX1 are well-documented and have been linked to multiple types of leukemia.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
