SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human RTN3 (reticulon 3, also called HAP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human RTN3 qPCR Primer Set – reticulon 3
Also known as: ASYIP, HAP, NSPL2, NSPLII, RTN3-A1
About this gene: RTN3 belongs to the reticulon family of highly conserved genes that are preferentially expressed in neuroendocrine tissues. This family of proteins interact with, and modulate the activity of beta-amyloid converting enzyme 1, and the production of amyloid-beta. An increase in the expression of any reticulon protein substantially reduces the production of amyloid-beta, suggesting that reticulon proteins are negative modulators of BACE1 in cells.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10313; HGNC ID: HGNC:10469; UniProt: O95197; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001265589.2; Chromosome location: 11q13.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
