SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human BCS1L (BCS1 ubiquinol-cytochrome c reductase complex chaperone, also called h-BCS1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human BCS1L qPCR Primer Set – BCS1 ubiquinol-cytochrome c reductase complex chaperone
Also known as: BCS, BCS1, BJS, FLNMS, GRACILE, Hs.6719, MC3DN1, PTD, h-BCS, h-BCS1
About this gene: BCS1L encodes a homolog of the S. cerevisiae bcs1 protein which is involved in the assembly of complex III of the mitochondrial respiratory chain. The BCS1L protein does not contain a mitochondrial targeting sequence but experimental studies confirm that it is imported into mitochondria. Mutations in BCS1L are linked to mitochondrial complex III deficiency and the GRACILE syndrome.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 617; HGNC ID: HGNC:1020; UniProt: Q9Y276; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001079866.2; Chromosome location: 2q35
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
