SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human RPS6KB2 (ribosomal protein S6 kinase B2, also called SRK) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human RPS6KB2 qPCR Primer Set – ribosomal protein S6 kinase B2
Also known as: KLS, P70-beta, P70-beta-1, P70-beta-2, S6K-beta2, S6K2, S6KB, S6KI(2), S6Kbeta, SRK, STK14B, p70(S6K)-beta
About this gene: RPS6KB2 belongs to the RSK family of serine/threonine kinases. This kinase contains a kinase catalytic domain and phosphorylates the S6 ribosomal protein and eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4B. Phosphorylation of S6 leads to an increase in protein synthesis and cell proliferation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6199; HGNC ID: HGNC:10437; UniProt: Q9UBS0; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003952.3; Chromosome location: 11q13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
