Human RPS27A qPCR Primer Set – ribosomal protein S27a
Also known as: CEP80, HEL112, S27A, UBA80, UBCEP1, UBCEP80, eS31
About this gene: Ubiquitin, a highly conserved protein that has a major role in targeting cellular proteins for degradation by the 26S proteosome. RPS27A encodes a fusion protein consisting of ubiquitin at the N terminus and ribosomal protein S27a at the C terminus. When expressed in yeast, the protein is post-translationally processed, generating free ubiquitin monomer and ribosomal protein S27a.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6233; HGNC ID: HGNC:10417; UniProt: P62979; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002954.6; Chromosome location: 2p16.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
