SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human RPGR (retinitis pigmentosa GTPase regulator) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human RPGR qPCR Primer Set – retinitis pigmentosa GTPase regulator
Also known as: COD1, CORDX1, CRD, PCDX, RP15, RP3, XLRP3, orf15
About this gene: RPGR encodes a protein with a series of six RCC1-like domains, characteristic of the highly conserved guanine nucleotide exchange factors. The RPGR protein is found in the Golgi body and interacts with RPGRIP1. The RPGR protein localizes to the outer segment of rod photoreceptors and is essential for their viability.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6103; HGNC ID: HGNC:10295; UniProt: Q92834; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001034853.2; Chromosome location: Xp11.4
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
