Human RPA1 qPCR Primer Set – replication protein A1
Also known as: HSSB, MST075, PFBMFT6, REPA1, RF-A, RP-A, RPA70
About this gene: RPA1 encodes a largest subunit of the heterotrimeric Replication Protein A complex, which binds to single-stranded DNA, forming a nucleoprotein complex that is important for DNA metabolism, being involved in DNA replication, repair, recombination, telomere maintenance. The nucleoprotein complex protects the single-stranded DNA from nucleases, prevents formation of secondary structures that would interfere with repair, and co-ordinates the recruitment and departure of different genome maintenance factors.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6117; HGNC ID: HGNC:10289; UniProt: P27694; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002945.5; Chromosome location: 17p13.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
