SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human RORC (RAR related orphan receptor C) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human RORC qPCR Primer Set – RAR related orphan receptor C
Also known as: IMD42, NR1F3, RORG, RZR-GAMMA, RZRG, TOR
About this gene: The RORC protein is a DNA-binding transcription factor and belongs to the NR1 subfamily of nuclear hormone receptors. The specific functions of this protein are not known; however, studies of a similar gene in mice have shown that RORC may be essential for lymphoid organogenesis and may play an important regulatory role in thymopoiesis. In addition, studies in mice suggest that the protein encoded by RORC may inhibit the expression of Fas ligand and IL2.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6097; HGNC ID: HGNC:10260; UniProt: P51449; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005060.4; Chromosome location: 1q21.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
