SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human RDH16 (retinol dehydrogenase 16, also called hRDH-E) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human RDH16 qPCR Primer Set – retinol dehydrogenase 16
Also known as: RODH-4, RODH4, SDR9C8, hRDH-E
About this gene: RDH16 enables all-trans-retinol dehydrogenase activity; androstan-3-alpha,17-beta-diol dehydrogenase activity; and androsterone dehydrogenase [NAD+] activity. It is involved in steroid metabolic process.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8608; HGNC ID: HGNC:29674; UniProt: O75452; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003708.5; Chromosome location: 12q13.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
