SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human RNF8 (ring finger protein 8, also called hRNF8) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human RNF8 qPCR Primer Set – ring finger protein 8
Also known as: hRNF8
About this gene: The RNF8 protein contains a RING finger motif and an FHA domain. The RNF8 protein is reported to interact with multiple class II ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes, including UBE2E1/UBCH6, UBE2E2, and UBE2E3, and may act as an ubiquitin ligase in the ubiquitination of certain nuclear proteins. The RNF8 protein is also known to play a role in the DNA damage response and depletion of this protein causes cell growth inhibition and cell cycle arrest.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9025; HGNC ID: HGNC:10071; UniProt: O76064; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003958.4; Chromosome location: 6p21.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
