Human RNF43 qPCR Primer Set – ring finger protein 43

Also known as: RNF124, SSPCS, URCC

About this gene: The RNF43 protein is a RING-type E3 ubiquitin ligase and is predicted to contain a transmembrane domain, a protease-associated domain, an ectodomain, and a cytoplasmic RING domain. The RNF43 protein is believed to negatively regulate Wnt signaling, and expression of RNF43 leads to an increase in ubiquitination of frizzled receptors, an alteration in their subcellular distribution, resulting in reduced surface levels of these receptors. Mutations in RNF43 have been reported in multiple tumor cells, including colorectal and endometrial cancers.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 54894; HGNC ID: HGNC:18505; UniProt: Q68DV7; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_017763.6; Chromosome location: 17q22

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
