SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human RNF40 (ring finger protein 40, also called RBP95) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human RNF40 qPCR Primer Set – ring finger protein 40
Also known as: BRE1B, RBP95, STARING
About this gene: The RNF40 protein contains a RING finger, a motif known to be involved in protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions. The RNF40 protein was reported to interact with the tumor suppressor protein RB1. Studies of the rat counterpart suggested that this protein may function as an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase, and facilitate the ubiquitination and degradation of syntaxin 1, which is an essential component of the neurotransmitter release machinery.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9810; HGNC ID: HGNC:16867; UniProt: O75150; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_014771.4; Chromosome location: 16p11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
