Human TRIM68 qPCR Primer Set – tripartite motif containing 68
Also known as: GC109, RNF137, SS-56, SS56
About this gene: TRIM68 belongs to the tripartite motif-containing protein family, whose members are characterized by a "really interesting new gene" finger domain, a zinc-binding B-box motif, and a coiled-coil region. Members of this family function as E3 ubiquitin ligases and are involved in a broad range of biological processes. TRIM68 regulates the activation of nuclear receptors, such as androgen receptor, and has been implicated in development of prostate cancer cells, where its expression increases in response to a downregulation of microRNAs.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 55128; HGNC ID: HGNC:21161; UniProt: Q6AZZ1; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_018073.8; Chromosome location: 11p15.4
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
