About this gene: The RHO protein is found in rod cells in the back of the eye and is essential for vision in low-light conditions. The RHO protein binds to 11-cis retinal and is activated when light hits the retinal molecule. Defects in RHO are a cause of congenital stationary night blindness.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
