SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human RHD (Rh blood group D antigen, also called RhPII) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human RHD qPCR Primer Set – Rh blood group D antigen
Also known as: CD240D, DIIIc, HDFNRH, RH, RH30, RHCED, RHDVA(TT), RHDel, RHPII, RHXIII, Rh4, RhDCw
About this gene: The Rh blood group system is the second most clinically significant of the blood groups, second only to ABO. It is also the most polymorphic of the blood groups, with variations due to deletions, gene conversions. The Rh blood group includes RHD, which encodes the RhD protein, and a second gene that encodes both the RhC and RhE antigens on a single polypeptide. The two genes, and a third unrelated gene, are found in a cluster on chromosome 1.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6007; HGNC ID: HGNC:10009; UniProt: Q02161; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_016124.6; Chromosome location: 1p36.11
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
