SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human RGS6 (regulator of G protein signaling 6, also called S914) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human RGS6 qPCR Primer Set – regulator of G protein signaling 6
Also known as: GAP, HA117, S914
About this gene: RGS6 belongs to the RGS family of proteins, which are defined by the presence of a RGS domain that confers the GTPase-activating activity of these proteins toward certain G alpha subunits. The RGS6 protein also belongs to a subfamily of RGS proteins characterized by the presence of DEP and GGL domains, the latter a G beta 5-interacting domain. The RGS proteins negatively regulate G protein signaling, and may modulate neuronal, cardiovascular, lymphocytic activities, and cancer risk.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9628; HGNC ID: HGNC:10002; UniProt: P49758; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001204424.2; Chromosome location: 14q24.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
