SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human BCKDHA (branched chain keto acid dehydrogenase E1 subunit alpha, also called BCKDE1A) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human BCKDHA qPCR Primer Set – branched chain keto acid dehydrogenase E1 subunit alpha
Also known as: BCKDE1A, MSU, MSUD1, MSUD1A, OVD1A
About this gene: The branched-chain alpha-keto acid dehydrogenase complex is an innter mitochondrial enzyme complex that catalyzes the second major step in the catabolism of the branched-chain amino acids leucine, isoleucine, and valine. The BCKD complex consists of three catalytic components: a heterotetrameric branched-chain alpha-keto acid decarboxylase, a dihydrolipoyl transacylase, and a dihydrolipoamide dehydrogenase. BCKDHA encodes a alpha subunit of the decarboxylase component.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 593; HGNC ID: HGNC:986; UniProt: P12694; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000709.4; Chromosome location: 19q13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
