SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human RGS16 (regulator of G protein signaling 16, also called RGS-r) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human RGS16 qPCR Primer Set – regulator of G protein signaling 16
Also known as: A28-RGS14, A28-RGS14P, RGS-R
About this gene: The RGS16 protein belongs to the 'regulator of G protein signaling' family. The RGS16 gene product inhibits signal transduction by increasing the GTPase activity of G protein alpha subunits. The RGS16 gene product also may play a role in regulating the kinetics of signaling in the phototransduction cascade.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 6004; HGNC ID: HGNC:9997; UniProt: O15492; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002928.4; Chromosome location: 1q25.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
