SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ACAT1 (acetyl-CoA acetyltransferase 1, also called T2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human ACAT1 qPCR Primer Set – acetyl-CoA acetyltransferase 1
Also known as: ACAT, MAT, T2, THIL
About this gene: ACAT1 encodes a mitochondrially localized enzyme that catalyzes the reversible formation of acetoacetyl-CoA from two molecules of acetyl-CoA. Defects in ACAT1 are linked to 3-ketothiolase deficiency.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 38; HGNC ID: HGNC:93; UniProt: P24752; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000019.4; Chromosome location: 11q22.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
