Human RGS1 qPCR Primer Set – regulator of G protein signaling 1

Also known as: 1R20, BL34, HEL-S-87, IER1, IR20

About this gene: RGS1 belongs to the regulator of G-protein signalling family. The RGS1 protein is located on the cytosolic side of the plasma membrane and contains a conserved, 120 amino acid motif called the RGS domain. The protein attenuates the signalling activity of G-proteins by binding to activated, GTP-bound G alpha subunits and acting as a GTPase activating protein.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5996; HGNC ID: HGNC:9991; UniProt: Q08116; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002922.4; Chromosome location: 1q31.2

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
