SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human RFX1 (regulatory factor X1, also called RFX) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human RFX1 qPCR Primer Set – regulatory factor X1
Also known as: EFC, RFX
About this gene: RFX1 belongs to the regulatory factor X family of transcription factors, which are characterized by a winged-helix DNA-binding domain. The encoded transcription factor contains an N-terminal activation domain and a C-terminal repression domain, and may activate or repress target gene expression depending on cellular context. This transcription factor is reported to regulate a wide variety of genes involved in immunity and cancer, including the MHC class II genes and genes that may be involved in cancer progression.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5989; HGNC ID: HGNC:9982; UniProt: P22670; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002918.5; Chromosome location: 19p13.12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
