SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human HSD17B14 (hydroxysteroid 17-beta dehydrogenase 14) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human HSD17B14 qPCR Primer Set – hydroxysteroid 17-beta dehydrogenase 14
Also known as: DHRS10, SDR47C1, retSDR3
About this gene: 17-beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenases, such as HSD17B14, are primarily involved in metabolism of steroids at the C17 position and also of other substrates, such as fatty acids, prostaglandins, and xenobiotics.[supplied by OMIM, Jun 2009].
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 51171; HGNC ID: HGNC:23238; UniProt: Q9BPX1; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_016246.3; Chromosome location: 19q13.33
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
