SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human REEP1 (receptor accessory protein 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human REEP1 qPCR Primer Set – receptor accessory protein 1
Also known as: C2orf23, DSMA6, HMN5B, HMND12, HMNR6, SPG31, Yip2a
About this gene: REEP1 encodes a mitochondrial protein that functions to enhance the cell surface expression of odorant receptors. Mutations in REEP1 cause spastic paraplegia autosomal dominant type 31, a neurodegenerative disorder.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 65055; HGNC ID: HGNC:25786; UniProt: Q9H902; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001371279.1; Chromosome location: 2p11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
