SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human RECK (reversion inducing cysteine rich protein with kazal motifs, also called hRECK) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human RECK qPCR Primer Set – reversion inducing cysteine rich protein with kazal motifs
Also known as: ST15
About this gene: The RECK protein is a cysteine-rich, extracellular protein with protease inhibitor-like domains whose expression is suppressed strongly in many tumors and cells transformed by various kinds of oncogenes. In normal cells, this membrane-anchored glycoprotein may serve as a negative regulator for matrix metalloproteinase-9, a key enzyme involved in tumor invasion and metastasis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8434; HGNC ID: HGNC:11345; UniProt: O95980; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_021111.3; Chromosome location: 9p13.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
