SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PHB2 (prohibitin 2, also called D-prohibitin) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PHB2 qPCR Primer Set – prohibitin 2
Also known as: BAP, BCAP37, Bap37, PNAS-141, REA, hBAP, p22
About this gene: PHB2 enables obsolete amide binding activity; protein dimerization activity; and sphingolipid binding activity. It is involved in multiple processes, including RIG-I signaling pathway; antiviral innate immune response; and regulation of DNA-templated transcription.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 11331; HGNC ID: HGNC:30306; UniProt: Q99623; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001144831.2; Chromosome location: 12p13.31
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
