SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human OPN1LW (opsin 1, long wave sensitive, also called ROP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human OPN1LW qPCR Primer Set – opsin 1, long wave sensitive
Also known as: CBBM, CBP, COD5, RCP, ROP
About this gene: OPN1LW encodes for a light absorbing visual pigment of the opsin gene family. The OPN1LW protein is called red cone photopigment or long-wavelength sensitive opsin. Opsins are G-protein coupled receptors with seven transmembrane domains, an N-terminal extracellular domain, and a C-terminal cytoplasmic domain.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5956; HGNC ID: HGNC:9936; UniProt: P04000; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_020061.6; Chromosome location: Xq28
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
