SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human RCN2 (reticulocalbin 2, also called E6BP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human RCN2 qPCR Primer Set – reticulocalbin 2
Also known as: E6BP, ERC-55, ERC55, TCBP49
About this gene: The RCN2 protein is a calcium-binding protein located in the lumen of the ER. The protein contains six conserved regions with similarity to a high affinity Ca-binding motif, the EF-hand. RCN2 maps to the same region as type 4 Bardet-Biedl syndrome, suggesting a possible causative role for RCN2 in the disorder.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5955; HGNC ID: HGNC:9935; UniProt: Q14257; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002902.3; Chromosome location: 15q24.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
