SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human RBP4 (retinol binding protein 4, also called RBP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human RBP4 qPCR Primer Set – retinol binding protein 4
Also known as: MCOPCB10, RDCCAS
About this gene: The RBP4 protein belongs to the lipocalin family and is the specific carrier for retinol in the blood. The RBP4 gene product delivers retinol from the liver stores to the peripheral tissues. In plasma, the RBP-retinol complex interacts with transthyretin which prevents its loss by filtration through the kidney glomeruli.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5950; HGNC ID: HGNC:9922; UniProt: P02753; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006744.4; Chromosome location: 10q23.33
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
