SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human RBP3 (retinol binding protein 3, also called IRBP) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human RBP3 qPCR Primer Set – retinol binding protein 3
Also known as: D10S64, D10S65, D10S66, IRBP, RBPI, RP66
About this gene: Interphotoreceptor retinol-binding protein is a large glycoprotein known to bind retinoids and found primarily in the interphotoreceptor matrix of the retina between the retinal pigment epithelium and the photoreceptor cells. The RBP3 gene product is believed to transport retinoids between the retinal pigment epithelium and the photoreceptors. The introns are 1.6-1.9 kbp long.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5949; HGNC ID: HGNC:9921; UniProt: P10745; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002900.3; Chromosome location: 10q11.22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
