Human RBM5 qPCR Primer Set – RNA binding motif protein 5
Also known as: G15, H37, LUCA-15, LUCA15, RMB5
About this gene: RBM5 is a candidate tumor suppressor gene which encodes a nuclear RNA binding protein that is a component of the spliceosome A complex. The RBM5 protein is involved in the induction of cell cycle arrest and apoptosis through pre-mRNA splicing of multiple target genes including the tumor suppressor protein p53. RBM5 is located within the tumor suppressor region 3p21.3, and may play a role in the inhibition of tumor transformation and progression of multiple malignancies including lung cancer.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10181; HGNC ID: HGNC:9902; UniProt: P52756; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005778.4; Chromosome location: 3p21.31
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
