SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human RBBP8 (RB binding protein 8, endonuclease, also called RIM) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human RBBP8 qPCR Primer Set – RB binding protein 8, endonuclease
Also known as: COM1, CTIP, JAWAD, JWDS, RIM, SAE2, SCKL2
About this gene: The RBBP8 protein is a ubiquitously expressed nuclear protein. The RBBP8 gene product is found among multiple proteins that bind directly to retinoblastoma protein, which regulates cell proliferation. The RBBP8 protein complexes with transcriptional co-repressor CTBP. It is also linked to BRCA1 and is believed to modulate the functions of BRCA1 in transcriptional regulation, DNA repair, and/or cell cycle checkpoint control.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5932; HGNC ID: HGNC:9891; UniProt: Q99708; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002894.3; Chromosome location: 18q11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
